The Festival de Cannes, also called the Film celebration of Cannes, is one of the most established and most renowned film celebrations on the planet. The private celebration is held yearly (more often in May) at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, in the hotel town of Cannes, in the south of France. The main celebration began in 1930 and in 2019, the 72nd version will be a reality.

The Toronto International Film Festival is one of the world’s best film celebrations held every year in Toronto, drawing the greatest stars and movies from around the globe. It is the world’s biggest film celebration open to the general public. The celebration initiates on the Thursday after Labor Day. It goes on for eleven days, albeit shutting night is celebrated on the tenth night.
